Terms of Service – Studio Ferrari
Last Updated: 27 June 2025
These Terms apply to all services provided by Serena Ferrari / Studio Ferrari. By accepting a proposal, contract, or service package, you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
Studio Ferrari or we/us: Serena Ferrari, independent digital strategist based in the UK.
Client or you: the person or organisation requesting our services.
Services: any work we deliver (e.g. websites, campaigns, consulting, event support).
Deliverables: the final outcomes delivered to the client (e.g. website, strategy, content).
Proposal: the written agreement outlining scope, pricing, and timeline.
Agreement: the combination of the approved Proposal and these Terms of Service.
2. Engagement & Timeline
Work begins only after written confirmation of the Proposal and, where applicable, a deposit.
We will respect all agreed deadlines, but timelines may shift if content, materials, or feedback are delayed.
If a project is inactive for 30+ days due to client delay, additional charges may apply or the project may be closed.
3. Fees & Payment
Prices are stated in the Proposal and quoted in EUR (€) or GBP (£), excluding VAT if applicable.
Payments are accepted via bank transfer or Stripe.
Final payment is required before handover or website launch.
Late payments may result in service suspension and are subject to 4% annual interest.
4. Intellectual Property
You retain full rights to final deliverables once the full payment is received.
I retain rights to use any frameworks, templates, design systems, or internal tools used in delivery.
Unless agreed otherwise, I may feature the project in my portfolio or case studies.
5. Responsibilities
You agree to provide timely access to materials, images, and feedback.
If you delay agreed inputs or approvals by more than 15 working days, your timeline and costs may be affected.
If the project includes events or live services, it is your responsibility to obtain necessary permits or licenses (e.g. music, safety, GDPR).
6. Cancellations & Refunds
You can cancel a project at any time in writing. You will be invoiced for any work completed to date.
If a deposit was paid but no work has started, a partial refund may be issued (minus preparation or admin costs).
7. Limitation of Liability
I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss (e.g. lost revenue or third-party platform failures).
My maximum liability is always limited to the total fees paid for the project.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Your data is handled in line with UK and EU GDPR.
I do not share your data with third parties unless explicitly required and agreed.
Use of external platforms (e.g. Google, Squarespace, Zapier) also falls under their privacy terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by UK law.
Any disputes will first be addressed informally. If unresolved, they will be handled by UK courts.
