Serena worked at the Enterprise Europe Network from Jan 2012 to 2014.

“Serena Ferrari worked for the Chamber as Project Manager of the Enterprise Europe Network Yorkshire (EENY) project from June 2013 until after my retirement in February, 2014, July 2014. During this time Ms Ferrari proved herself to be an honest and reliable employee who was effective in her role.

EENY was a complicated European funded project designed to facilitate exporting by small and medium businesses and to help them to form strategic partnerships in over 50 export markets across the world. Ms Ferrari managed the delivery of this project and was able to understand and manage the complicated back-office reporting procedures to ensure that all the necessary evidence was in place to ensure compliance with the contract audit requirements”

Niki Kernohan

Director, Pipers Projects Ltd, London (UK).

Serena worked as an Exhibition Assistant for Pipers Projects from 4th January through to March 16th, 2012.

“Serena worked with me on her work placement to organise the London Pavilion at MIPIM, which involves coordinating an exhibition for 250 companies and 800 individuals. Serena was an excellent addition to the team and proved to be a great help.

She took ownership of all the tasks given to her. These included delegate registrations, updating our online system, reserving hotel accommodation, booking flights, managing client meeting bookings and producing the stand guide. Serena was very organised and worked extremely hard while she was with us. She managed her time well and often took her own initiative such as creating a database for the meeting area so that we could easily manage bookings and produce reports. On site, Serena was excellent in dealing with client queries and also visitors to the stand. She also helped the Chairman when the Mayor of Rome visited the stand.  Serena was a pleasure to work with and I wish her well in the future”.
