Organisers: Enterprise Europe Network Yorkshire (EENY) was a European Commission-funded project delivered by a Consortium comprising RTC North, the Leeds Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of Bradford.

Strategic Objectives

The objective of EEN was to help members meeting with other businesses across Europe and form strong relationships.

The office was based in the Leeds Chamber of Commerce.

Event Goals

Implement a series of business events, such as breakfast meetings, presentations, stand at trade shows, networking drink receptions.

Serena‚Äôs Role and Responsibilities  

Project Coordinator from January 2013 to July 2014 for the Leeds and York Chambers of Commerce and RTC North.

My role was to oversee the implementation of the daily activities of the project in close coordination with the Project Manager and the Consortium Team.

Attended internal and external meetings related to the Enterprise Europe Network Yorkshire (EENY) deliverables.

Planning and executing events to enhance the capacity of companies for trading internationally within Europe and beyond.

Developed content for EENY website (events, news, tenders) with an updated events diary.

Update Enterprise Europe Yorkshire Network intranet and CRM back office system.


Engaged with the representative of the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in London and organised a successful event in Leeds with over 30 companies attending.

Significantly improved my project management skills
